The MBB and its project partners the Malta Chamber and the MHRA are offering businesses and hotels in Malta 100 complimentary water audits.
Through the audit your water consumption will be analysed to identify water saving opportunities and recommend specific water saving solutions. The aim behind the audits is to help enterprises save water and slash their utility bills.
Enterprises interested in having a water audit will be asked to prepare some information on their consumption. The EU LIFE+ Investing in Water project team will then visit the premises to carry out an on-site audit, normally lasting about two hours. A report will then be prepared by the team and presented to the relevant enterprise personnel. If you decide to adopt the project’s recommendations the team remains available to help guide your water saving efforts.
… is precious – which is why the process is tailored to be as simple as possible for you. You need only prepare some information on your consumption and leave the rest to our team.
The audits are being offered from November 2012 through till November 2013. We encourage interested enterprises to book audits as soon as possible, to benefit from savings as soon as possible.
Who is our team?
Project Manager Geoffrey Saliba will be organising the audits, which will be led by Ing. Marco Cremona assisted by Ing. Christian Zammit and Celine Schranz.
What sort of savings can be achieved?
This varies from enterprise to enterprise, depending on your facilities. However, savings of up to 4,000 cubic meters of water – representing a staggering €10,000 – have been identified for many of the companies audited during our first set of 40 audits earlier this year.
