Businesses and hotels in Malta and Gozo have this weekend been offered a complimentary tailored consultation package aimed at helping them reduce their water consumption. The offer was communicated to enterprises by the EU LIFE+ Investing in Water Project partners the MBB, Malta Chamber and MHRA, in commemoration of World Water Day. 

In an event organised by the Malta Business Bureau at the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard, Minister de Marco this morning welcomed the Corinthia’s latest environmental initiative – the implementation of a water savings programme in all its Malta hotels, estimated to save 2,669,000 litres of water every year.

As part of the EU LIFE+ Investing in Water Project the MBB today launched a free online self-assessment tool which helps businesses and hotels identify water saving opportunities, and recommends specific solutions.

APS Bank and the Malta Business Bureau today teamed up to launch a programme of workshops for businesses and hotels as part of the MBB’s EU LIFE+ Investing in Water Project. The first workshop as part of this programme was held this afternoon at the APS Bank’s head office in Swatar.
